 Ministries of Generosity

1) Bless a Block

This is a ministry that involves taking a gift package from the church to each home on a block in the city.  First, we identify a block to bless.  Second, we pray over the homes (specifically the people living in them) for a couple weeks.  We pray in church services, at home, and even walk around the block praying for those who live there.  That's called "prayer walking." Third, we have teams deliver the gift packs which include a card from the church, treats, a bilingual long-distance calling card, school supplies, etc. 

2) Bless a Cop

A couple of times a year we have an opportunity to BBQ a meal of the police department when they have training and allow them the use of our facility for meetings and.  It's a great opportunity to bless the police department and show them we value the service they provide for our community.

3) Feed a Fireman

Similar to the Bless a Cop we prepare a meal for the fire department when they have training and invite them to use our facility for any training or meetings they need to have.  It's simply another way to be generous and show our appreciation for their service.

4) Clothing Exchange

Through the grace of God & the obedience of church members, we have come up with a clothing exchange. 
We accept donations of quality clothing & accessories.  All types, all colors, all eras.

The closet is open to CLF members & area residents in need.
We also work with the fire & police departments, social workers & Love In the Name of Christ.

To keep things tidy, All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by their parent.

Volunteers are always needed.

5) Prison Ministry

This ministry allows members of our church to go into the local prison and minister through their chapel services or to go in and teach classes. 

6) Meals Ministry

This ministry is where members of our church provide meals for people in need due to medical and health issues, loss of family and friends or anything that would inhibit them from cooking there own meals.
